Damn, this virus or something that causes my cold also makes me have my peculiar epileptic-like panic attacks. Heart palpitations with coincidental odd sensations in the head. My CNS is børken. :(

Last time this happened was in February before I got my new meds (Cymbalta mainly). Am I losing it? Time to go back to the ward to "rest"? :/

Lol, haven't been vomiting or anything. This is just a mild throat + headache with occasional 37C fever. It's just that my nervous system goes bezerk every time I've got even a headcold. I'm starting to think I'v got a chronic enterovirus infection.

There's a small epidemic of the hand, foot and mouth virus (an enterovirus) here in Finland. Mainly in daycare centers, so I think I got part of this from my niece who just recently had a cold with cough. I'v got a few small sores in my hands/feet & mouth.

heh, no, i was referring to the heart palpitations (which can also be a reason for panic attacks), not the virus infection as such. i know someone who dropped dead from one second to the other (and luckily could be re-animated within a reasonable amount of time) just because of lack of potassium in the system. so, heart palpitations can always be a symptom of electrolyte imbalance if no other cause can be diagnosed - that's what i meant to say.

I have had exactly that palpitation due to potassium problem a while ago, which was caused by a intestine infection. Scared the hell out of me unfil I knew why.
